Briefly, PK belts in auto engine act as a transmitter, it
takes the power from the crankshaft and will give it to the
other parts such as the alternator’s pulley, cooler
compressor, water pump, hydraulic power steering, etc.
One of the most important advantages of using this type of
belt is simultaneous transmission of power to parts by
using a longer and wider belt that leads to occupying less
space and less repairing time.
Broadly, according to the application, engine conditions
and customer’s requirements, PK belts will be produced
i nto two general types, CR and EPDM, which vary in their
grades and specifications.
